On the history channel.
Shows how the masses were duped into giving Hitler Power.
Scary because we are now in the same situation with all the promises and such.
And the way gov is being run without consent of the people.
The consent of the people refers to having ob care shoved down our throats. Then the disregard for the constitution as he fails to even understand it.
His pouring gas on the economy and his narcisstic bs that he is better than the rest of us and we need to do what he tells us to.
So once again you show you are a true libtard, as you cannot comprehend a post or you are so intent on kissing A that you spin it to what YOU want it to read.
History is not one of your better subjects as you only learned what you have read at the Huff post.

I happened to catch a different program on The History Channel this weekend called "High Hitler," it was very interesting and gives some insight in to Hitler's amphetamine habit as well as the suspicion that he had Parkinson's disease. Apparently he also may have contracted syphilis and concealed that from everyone. IMHO, that program is an hour well spent if you enjoy learning about history.
Given the economic circumstances in post World War I Germany it's not hard to understand how Hitler came into power. People were using German marks as wall paper, the mark had been devalued to the point that it took a wheelbarrow full of marks to buy a loaf of bread.
All things considered Hitler was a consummate politician with a definite Socialist bent, find out what the masses hunger for, promise it to them and once elected use up the resources of the nation for what ever means the party in power wants. What about the well being of the people? Screw'em, conscript them with a blizzard of propaganda and feed them in to the war machine and national police forces, let the elite reap the reap the conquests of war! The goal was a thousand year Reich, along with the drugs I have to believe many felt that it meant some of the non-Aryan people would have to die and others would be left and forced to serve the Reich.
Fortunately the Allied forces were able to stand up to Hitler and the Axis, while very costly in terms of human lives on both sides, the result is the mostly free and democratic world we live in today.
Next week in History 101 we'll explore Communism and all the wonderful things that system of governance has brought to the world and the people suffering under Communist rule...
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Spin, spin, spin, Skippy... Shoved down throats?... Funny, I remember enough Republicans voting for it to pass it---or it wouldn't have passed... I obviously remember history better than you do.

The final vote tally for the Senate version of President Obama's health care reform legislation in the House was 219-212, with 34 Democrats joining all Republicans in opposition.
2010 may have "happened"... But the health care bill PASSED, didn't it... So, it was done with "the consent of the people" at the time. Too bad, so sad.
So, since 2010 "happened", and the GOP controls the House, Where are the jobs? They've passed bills renaming Post Offices and other government buildings; they've passed bills to restrict women's rights; they've passed bills to do everything but create any jobs.... Where are the jobs? (And, excuse me, but passing bills to let the mega-rich keep more of their money doesn't equate to "more jobs"... That fantasy died in the previous 10 years when the rich were allowed to keep more of their money with the unpaid-for Bush tax-cuts, and he only created 8 million jobs during his 8 years in office.)
