Oh, Palin is already self-destructing even deeper on her own... This is better than watching a Broncos game...

Either way, I agree with LJ on this one... you mean what you say, and she promised to end cap and trade.

The real question is... if we don't elect her as President... does she still build the time machine? lol :pop

Yes, who knows what other non-existent programs she may be waiting to cancel!!?!?!?

(And how many other non-existent "founding fathers" may have worked "tirelessly to end slavery"!!!)

Where did she use the word cancel? (total lib spin) Many of the libs in congress are still fighting for that cap and trade. I hope the next Republican President DOES end all the cap and trade talk and programs the libs are fighting for! Good for her!

I used to work with a John Taft. He was a relative of William Howard Taft, does that make him a founding great-grand son?

Hey, I had a great-uncle who was a distant nephew of president Zachary Taylor... Soooo, that would make him a "founding great-great-great-grand-uncle?"

You are correct. She did not say "cancel." Bachmann used the word "end." :bash

"I have fought the cap-and-trade agenda, rather than implement it, and I will work to end cap-and-trade as President of the United States," Bachmann wrote in the email, referring to the policy initiative developed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The problem? This doesn't exactly count as a resume builder, considering the fact that a federal cap and trade program is currently nonexistent.

Was there some substantive difference between "END"ing a non-existent program vs. "CANCEL"ing a non-existent program? Sorry... My bad... I was more focused on the point of it being a "NON-EXISTENT PROGRAM"...

Neither one of you get it. It's OK. Not expected. And as people have said, you are really reaching today. And failing miserably.

Perhaps you could explain it in simple terms so people like us can understand it? From what I read, it appears that Bachmann is trying to end a program that doesn't exist.

I really can't believe that the Republicans are supporting such a homophobic bigot. She is on record that "gay marriage is the biggest issue facing America", and her husband has stated that "gays are barbarians that need education and discipline" and offers counseling to "ungay" them.
