Another question: Do you think ANY candidate (especially a conservative type) can withstand the grueling scrutiny of the press?
It's all the politics of personal destruction. The press, like locust, is hell bent on destroying any and all candidates offered up by the conservative side of the aisle...while the liberal candidates seem to get a pass.
The press is now steering our Nation on who to elect. Does that scare anyone besides me?

What it means is this election cycle is that the left has nothing but fear and smear to run on. Expect to see more vile per mile as the election gets closer.
It doesn't scare me because your premise that the press is out to destroy conservatives while giving liberals a pass is a lie. But if I had your slate of candidates, I'd be thrashing about trying to blame it on "outside forces" too.

Do you see the press digging up old bones on the President? He is the obvious candidate of choice for the libs no matter what. The guy could drop a deuce on his desk in the Oval Office and the press would run a series of stories on the benefits of good bowel movements.

What old bones are you referring to? The lies about his birth certificate? The lies about his country-of-origin? The lies about his college years? The lies about any number of other things? The press certainly ran articles about all of that--until it was proven to be lies. At that point, all you have is the faux-press rehashing the lies that were disproven... Sorry, but it ain't news if it didn't happen.
Drives you crazy that the press keeps turning up TRUTHS about the nutjob slate of candidates on the conservative side, doesn't it? And that stuff is like finding cow-patties in a cow-pasture...It doesn't exactly require a whole lot of journalistic digging to stumble across it.

So let me ask you this. Are you happy with YOUR candidate Obama? Happy with his keepping the two wars going and adding more troops and keeping troops over there after promising his liberal voters to bring them home? Happy with starting a war in Lybia and getting Syria started? Happy with letting iran get closer to nuclear weapons? Happy with out unemployment gooing up 25%? Happy with our gas going up 100%+? Happy with him embarassing us in several countries? Happy with growing out national debt faster than any President in history? Happy with out Government growing larger than ever in history? Is that who you are going to really vote for?
