One more reason to grow your own tobacco and bottle your own brewskis.

Yes... In all 50 states... It's a process the PEOPLE have voted on to provide money to General Funds to educate their children, repair their roads & bridges, provide services to their people. I realize that's a foreign concept to most of you, but civilized societies actually do that.

Actually in most states people have very little say in what budget and taxes are passed, unlike Colorado which has TABOR, the budget votes are last minute and usually passed after people have gone to bed. Like when Obama said people would get 72 hours to view new legislation, instead the Dems have failed to submit a budget in Congress for 800+ days when the Constitution requires them to submit one every year.

I'll try to type this slowly...

OBAMA doesn't have a f*king thing to do with alcohol & tobacco control and taxation in the 50 states... But you DID get to use "Obama" in a sentence.... But thank you for your totally uninformed and ignorant comment on what other states do.

If you don't like the the alcohol/tobacco tax laws in Minnesota, don't live there.

True statement since Obama doesn't do a f*king thing other than play golf, piss off our allies and hold the American people hostage with lies.
And make constant speeches. Never seen anyone more enamored with their own voice.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

Minn. governor, GOP reach deal to end shutdown
Raises $1.4 billion in revenue, and Republicans drop 15 percent cut in state workforce

The two sides agreed on a proposal that would raise $1.4 billion in new revenue, half by delaying state aid checks to school districts and the other half by selling tobacco payment bonds.

Dayton's concession was contingent on Republicans dropping a list of policy changes and a plan to cut the state workforce by 15 percent.

Guess you can't read very well.....

The governor, who had previously made raising taxes on high earners the centerpiece of his proposal to solve a $5 billion budget deficit, sounded weary earlier Thursday when he announced he would embrace the old GOP proposal.

So the Republicans knocked out the Governors centerpice of raising taxes! Another victory against higher taxes for the Republicans.

And..... Eat THAT, Republicans?? What are you? 12?
