So is the one trillion reduction over twelve years a trillion less of what the increases will be or a trillion less than what is currently being spent. I bet it is the former and is based on the huge budget increases he wants. So he proposes to cut his huge spending increases by a trillion which still means huge spending increases.
HEARTLESS wrote: archer, didn't you state in another thread how you recommend controlling debt on a personal level? Its exactly this cut (unnecessary spending or items), cap (what you are willing to spend on items) and balance (revenue/income with expense/debt)? But since those on the Right proposed it, it has to be bad. This is the definition of hypocrisy.
:rofl
Nice try DP......what I said is you have to balance cutting spending with increasing revenue....not the smoke and mirrors revenue the GOP is proposing but actual increases....yes taxes.....Don't lecture me on not liking the GOP proposal because it comes from the right when the right won't compromise with the Democrats on anything. It's their way or the highway.
Now tell me again exactly what items the GOP plans to cut....I'm sure they have it detailed somewhere......does it include the tax loopholes for the big corps? Does it include ending the tax breaks for the wealthiest 1%? Does it include any military spending? Why would I sign off on any plan that doesn't include REAL revenue increases?
What's real hypocricy is saying you want to slash spending, then turning around and protecting your buddies from those slashes.
I used to think that the people on the right were reasonably intelligent human beings with just a different point of view, I'm starting to think I was wrong in that assessment.....

Create all the straw man arguments you want, pretend I said anything you want....it doesn't make it true. I'm done saying the same things over and over again, and still you can't read plain English. Maybe tomorrow I'll try posting in Greek.
