The Left vs Right paradigm was created in post war Britain by the Fabian Socialists in the Labour Party as a means of painting the Tories as "Nazi Light" (In America liberals and Democrats use the same terminology to paint Republicans in the same Nazi light). Its also because the only range of "acceptable" political systems in the Progressive mind are Communists on one end and Fascists (which are a form of Socialists) on the other end.

The terms "Left" and "Right" come from the house of commons ... the Labour Party sat on the left side of the room and the Conservative party on the right

Why are radical muslims the problem in this attack since it was carried out by a right wing christian fundamentalist, (sounds like a number of posters here)? Or is just bigotry that anything bad must be done by a muslim?

I was reading the first article in the NYT last night and the associated comments. It is appalling, all of the ignorant, ill-informed, vile, STUPID crap that was posted through much of the day. Even much of the article itself was crap. This rush to be the first with breaking news, and the resulting faulty commentary by the talking or writing heads feeds the ignorant/STUPID their preformed prejudices with very little regard for getting all or even some of the facts. I am disgusted. Do any of you out there see a resemblance between all "Religious Fundamentalists" regardless the religion? The worst nuts always seem to be the most intolerant, easily manipulated, and hateful, of their respective religions. They do love them some violence--guns, bombs, though. WTF is up with that?

Sad that one guy could kill so many. Smart enough to realize a police uniform would let you get close to prospective victims.
