Looks like the Islamic radicals will blow up and shoot anyone they don't agree with, despite Norway having little to do with the war on terror and a very liberal immigration policy.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Unfortunately Norway had to learn this the hard way. If doesn't change things in Europe, they have learned nothing from this attack. Radical Muslims are the problem.
The reports I am seeing is the suspect they have arrested who was the shooter on the island and who was also seen at the bombing site was, "blond, tall and of Nordic descent." Looks like those Muslims are getting pretty tricky...

Around noon today 850 KOA and Fox News where reporting that the International Helpers of Islamic Jihad had claimed credit for the bombing and shootings. Fox News later indicated that the actor was a Norwegian citizen, no information concerning whether the individual was naturalized or country of origin of this individual.
What is unfortunate is that this individual (and any collaborators that are discovered later on) are subject to laws that frown on the death penalty so this dirt bag and his assumed accessories will likely rot in jail for 40-ish years instead of meeting their maker (God, Yahweh, Allah, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or deity of their choice) in a timely manner instead of swinging from the end of a rope, suffering from a large caliber bullet hole in the skull, or a too humane lethal injection.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

So much for the muslim connection....I think we have a run of the mill disgruntled right winger (the reports words, not mine) who hated muslims. go figure
The 32-year-old Norwegian man who allegedly went on a shooting spree on the island of Utoya has been identified as Anders Behring Breivik, according to multiple reports.
Police said Friday evening that they've linked the youth camp shooting and Oslo bombing. Breivik is believed to have acted alone.
Norwegian TV2 reports that Breivik belongs to "right-wing circles" in Oslo. Swedish news site Expressen adds that he has been known to write to right-wing forums in Norway, is a self-described nationalist and has also written a number of posts critical of Islam.
