Please SS...You wanna live in a police state, go somewhere else. This is America. I don't want Brownie Troop leaders, and 18 year old summer camp counselors wearing sidearms, and if it really has come to that? Then just close camp. I'm not gonna spend my life preparing for highly unlikely/worst possible case senario's..

When did we become a nation of cowards anyway? There is some inherant risk to life itself, and i'm willing to take the risk- in fact I believe you can't have a rich and full life without living dangeriously. Try it sometime Mr Excitment

You can live in your polyanna world, and let yourself be mowed down. I like knowing there are off duty police who arrange their schedule so that there is coverage at my parish for most services.

Here's what bat-s**t-crazy REALLY looks like:

Glenn Beck On Norway Killings: Children Like 'Hitler Youth,' Breivik 'Just As Bad As Osama Bin Laden' (AUDIO)

Glenn Beck spoke out about the mass killings in Norway on his Monday radio show.

Beck said that he was troubled by the summer camp that was the site of the overwhelming majority of the carnage perpetrated by Anders Behring Breivik, the right-wing extremist who has admitted to the killings. The camp is run by Norway's leading center-left party, the Labor Party, and has long been a haven for young people looking to break into the political scene.

Beck said the camp "sounds a little like the Hitler Youth. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing."

Upon further review, you are right, even in America, you are more likely to get a wedgie than a bullet wound at a summer camp and I don't think we need armed guards. (Unless Jason Voorhes is in the area.) But I do believe if they had been there the casualties would heve been reduced. Even the shooter was amazed that he was able to kill so many innocents.

Thank you for the pics Martin. Some of them were a bit graphic and all were so sad. Thanks again.
