Norway Attack.

Just awful. I read they are looking at 80 dead.

Tragic by anyone's measure of loss... My heartfelt condolences to all who lost loved ones.

Imagine that same attack in Atlanta, Los Angels, Boston, or Denver. Those committed to their cause will stop at nothing to eradicate the great evil that is Western society, not even loss of their own life in the process of kill the infidels.

Think it can't happen here? Sure the airports are sealed down to the point that the TSA get to feel you up and grab your junk. No one is paying much attention to the boarders and it's dead simple for anyone to walk across the boarder from Canada into Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, and Minnesota.

It's only a matter of time before it happens here again.

I hadn't heard that it was outside terrorists? can you give me a link to that? One of the reports I briefly heard on the news was that it may have been local, the suspect was a blond scandanavian. But I could have gotten that wrong. I really am curious. It was a horrible attack especially on the kids at camp.....I think that was the one where they have an eye witness.

The early speculation was that it was an Islamic terrorist organization, getting back at Norway's publication of the Muhammed cartoons.

I'm sure the neo-con crowd was bracing (almost with joy) for a new round of anti-Islamic hype.

Then - it turns out --- the individual was a Christian fundamentalist....... (whoops)

The Norwegian press say the man in custody for the terror attacks in Oslo and a nearby island today appears to have acted alone, and doesn't seem to have any links to Islamist militants.
