I'm not a citizen of Wisconsin, I'm a citizen of Colorado, hence the difference. If I were a citizen of Wisconsin I would have been just as opposed to doing this as I am as a citizen of Colorado. I am opposed to allowing people to claim affiliation on the eve of caucuses and primaries in all instances, as well as same day voter registration in my state. The level of corruption the citizens of other states are comfortable with in their own state politics is of no concern to me, but corruption in my state is an entirely different matter.archer wrote: Interesting that some here would take exception to a liberal registering as a Republican to vote in their primary because they live in a primarily Republican district but I don't recall them complaining about Republicans putting up sham Democratic candidates in Wisconsin to force a Democratic primary.

Indeed we don't. Any excursion from the party line sees us called "liberal". Well when it comes to spending and paying their bills they are the "liberals".AspenValley wrote: I never said there were no moderate Republicans, but their numbers get fewer every year. Indeed, after most of them were tossed to the curb in the rush by the electorate to give voice to their anger at the way these moderate Republicans had conducted themselves during the last 6 or 8 years and send those who were going to institute change they could believe in, it is small wonder that there are significantly fewer of them after the same electorate realized with horror what they had done in 2008 and sent new officials to put an end to the Democrat fiefdom that was running amok in DC.AspenValley wrote: I never said there were no moderate Republicans, but their numbers get fewer every year. Gotta hand it to you, PS, in that weird universe you live in you can always find a way to blame all the problems of that universe on people who don't even live in it.

Oh come now AV, surely you recognize a mirroring of the satire that you contributed in my reply. Neither of us were being serious, were we?AspenValley wrote:
