Viking, anyone with eyes can see more businesses closing than opening, more people being laid off than being hired, more part time and less full time jobs. But they love to be scammed by the media and our excuse for a leader in this nation.
Pretty much what I said- the numbers are a lie, which is why the market did not react positive for very long.
People dropping off the back end of un-employment is not creating jobs!
If you look at the numbers, the unemployment rate that went down was those who have been out of work less than 5 weeks......they have not "fallen off the back of unemployment". If you assert they have, where is your source for that?

Source- I have better than a source- I have proof.
We have lost millions of jobs since Obama was elected! Is that an acceptable source for ya?
Geez- you can lead a horse to water, but ya can't make um drink.
Wake up Archer!
:rofl
Losing jobs while Obama is president is NOT proof that he destroyed them. We were losing jobs while Bush was president....did he destroy those? There are a lot of economic factors that have gone into the loss of jobs in this country, you could as easily blame the Republicans and GW Bush.....but you wont. I still haven't seen you post "proof" that Obama and the Democrats destroyed millions of jobs, that may be your opinion, and if so just say that.....but you haven't provided proof. One company sending jobs overseas is hardly proof, that has happened under every president for several decades.....yet you don't blame anyone but Obama and the Democrats, not that I'm surprised.
Wake up BearMtnHIB.......opinion is NOT fact. Again....source for your proof??
Average length of unemployment 10 months? Wow. So I would guess a fair amount of people have been out of work since Obama was elected.
Someone was talking about a lost decade or generation earlier and I have to agree. Skills get rusty or don't update when you are out of work for a long time. And even going back to school to learn a new trade has lately seemed like a losing strategy, add tens of thousands in debt w/o any jobs to get after graduation.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Am I the only one who sees a difference between job loss....and someone actively "destroying" jobs? Yes, jobs have been lost during Obama's presidency......did Obama destroy those jobs?
We were losing jobs at the rate of 800,000/month when Bush was president... Did you expect that to magically stop the day Obama took office in January? Not being able to replace all the ones that Bush LOST as quickly as we would have liked does NOT equal "destroying jobs."

We were? Although it wasn't a great ammount due to 9/11 costing millions of jobs and a Trillion or so hit to our economy, and Clinton's recession and having to go after World Com and Enron after Clinton ignored them for years. We still grew 3 million jobs under Bush. In fact the 52 straight months of job growth was the longest in history after Bush's tax cuts. It wasn't until the Dems took over both houses in 2007 and the housing market recession started in motion in 1999 that we really lost jobs. He would have creted well over 6 million jobs even with everything he had to fix, had it not been for the housing deregulation bill signed in 1999 by Clinton and passed by BOTH parties.
Obama has LOST 2.5 million jobs since Feb of 2009 and he is the ONLY President in history to get trillions handed to him to stop it. ANY other president would have created jobs with that.

Good luck with that...
LMAO! You are so clueless!! Nice made up numbers!!

Well Obama uses the term Jobs Saved because no one can prove it, in fact it has been provenm most of those were not saved because of him. So jobs destroyed is easier to prove since he was the only President in history to get handed trillions and STILL lose 2.5 million jobs due to his terrible policies and spending.
