Or if the Dems and old school Republicans win, your kids will be born with millions of dollars of debt hanging over their heads. Don't worry about us spending too much today, the kids will pay for it tomorrow.

There is no doubt our kids will be paying for our debt for decades to come. The Tea Party will continue to block any revenue increases that might help pay it down faster. Best thing we could do is make the Tea Party irrelevant by voting them all out of office and let more reasonable people start raising some cash to augment cuts in spending.

Why are people so clueluss? The Tea Party is the ONLY reason they are even talking about cutting spending now. When the Dems controlled everything they never talked about a budget and cutting spending. They are the ONLY ones who fought for more cuts in spending. Why do you guys keep blaming them for this? And they want to close loopholes to raise revenue. You guys really don't get reality.

Duh..We were going into a depression- Ya don't cut spending when you're going into a depression...Do you know anything about our history Viking?

So VL, do you propose a world war to stimulate industry and the economy, or do you actually read history?

The world war and the industrial war machine got us out of the depression, not spending on infrastructure. Look up Civilian Conservation Corps, happened prior to the world war and then compare to after our industries grew for several years.

Duh..I did'nt say that we did it by spending on infrastructre......Spending is spending, except we get NOTHING back from spending on war but jobs..Spending on infrastructure gives us jobs, and also things we need right here in this country. Do you think China is investing trillions in infrastrucue to make the Chineese people happy? They are building it for commerce...Thats the alter you worship on, remember? Our interstate highway system made us the Super Power that we became..

F-ing clueless
