"terrorist," "jihad" and "Wahhabis" to describe the Tea Par

When one considers the casualness with which left-wing politicians and media figures use words like " terrorist," " jihad" and " Wahhabis" to describe the Tea Party, one cannot help but wonder what shapes such attitudes in the first place.

In order to satisfy such curiosity, it is necessary to spend time among liberals, socialists, communists and self-described progressives. I realize this is not the way a lot of conservatives would want to spend their morning -- much less their afternoon or evening. Yet when in a political conflict, especially one that is likely to shape the very future of this country, it is most helpful for conservatives to know our adversaries as well as we know ourselves.

(and perhaps where you got this talking point): New liberal talking point: tea partiers = terrorists? (Glen Beck's website The Blaze)

That article quotes a NYT's columnist who wrote:

"[The tea party movement] is so lacking in any aspiration for American greatness, so dominated by the narrowest visions for our country and so ignorant of the fact that it was not tax cuts that made America great but our unique public-private partnerships across the generations. If sane Republicans do not stand up to this Hezbollah faction in their midst, the Tea Party will take the G.O.P. on a suicide mission."

Sounds like somebody needs to call a Wambulance for you Neptune. This is only the 5th thread you started in just one week where you try to play the "Tea Party as Victim" card. Forget calling you teabaggers. You can now be called the Pit-tea Party.

"Woe are they that scream the loudest and don't carry the skin to defend themselves from the names called upon them."

Maybe the 285Bound Roadcrew can compost all the threads below into one steaming pile and you could actually have 2 pages of comments. You are cluttering up the site with all your whining Skippy.

Both sides use over the top hyperbole. Is it any wonder that we all feel hostile and under attack all the time?

And lets not forget how ofter Hitler and Nazi are thrown out there too!

Keep using hyperbole and the real horrors of the Nazi party or the terrorists are diminshed.

You forgot "teahadists." That's my personal favorite.

Personally, I blame Rush. He's always coming up with negative twists on words to describe liberals -- or even other things, like screwool (school).
