"outrage' is the first response for the right, the left takes a wait and see attitude, we want facts and results, or lack thereof, before becoming outraged.

Oh, now that explains why Moveon.org remove the Be Tray Us ad from their website two days ago. That decision took them three years to take a wait and see attitude toward the General.

rofllol  Exactly!! The left follows. (not all, so unclench) They don't know how to lead. Passfists should not be allowed to run a nation. Like Obama and his wait and see approach in the Gulf with the Skimmers and the Berms? How did that work out for us? Oh yeah, it has now destroyed that region for decades to come. :bash

Sorry Viuking, but rushing in half cocked, putting into place solutions that have not been vetted, can, and often does, cause more harm than good. Thus the changes in the berm strategy.

You all would be all over Obama if he had done that.....just as you are all over him for taking his time and doing it right. oh yeah....you would be all over him no matter what he did or didn't do.

Old saying, if you can't take the time to do it right the first time, what makes you think you have the time to do it over? A lot of people wanted the administration to use the "nuclear option"....blow the damn thing up. Sure, sounds good, but it turns out the sea bed is so unstable that it might have opened up the entire oil field to unload into the gulf. That would have been pretty. I favor a more measured approach rather than make matter worse by using hasty, untried, and ill-concieved solutions.

But I will admit, it is so much fun to sit at home and criticize that which we know so little about.

So you favor allowing the gulf coast to be destroyed by waiting and watching? And how is getting advanced skimmers in from the Dutch int he first week, going in half cocked? they do it everywhere else in the world quickly to prevent the same thing that is happening to our shores. Obama waited because he is indecisive and totally dropped the ball and caused most of the mess on our coasts.

And you say he shouldn't go in half cocked, but yet he almost immediately did that by creating a moratorium on the 33 rigs. Costing over50,000 jobs and up to $30 billion more to that economy down there. Everyone is saying that is a huge mistake including leading engineers and economists. Yet that one he went in half cocked on and now won't listen to the experts. He is doing everything 180 degrees backwards. It has to be on purpose. No one is that stupid.
