Hmm... Is this a market opening for a line of Kevlar "support wear?" On a more serious note, even though paintball guns are widely regarded as toys, they are guns and they can do real damage to who/what you shoot them at. Wear the appropriate personal protective gear.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
The paintball would have ruptured when it came in contact with clothing. There isn't a whole lot of mass involved, and the paintball is designed to split, not penetrate, upon impact. I know 190 mph sounds like the paintball is traveling very fast, but 190 mph works out to about 278 fps compared to say a bullet fired from a rifle which leaves the muzzle at about 2800 fps. The iconic "Red Ryder" BB Gun of "A Christmas Story" fame has a velocity of around 375 - 425 fps. That should give you some rough figures for comparison Hoot.
