Has anyone here read, or planning to read, Dick Cheney's new book?

I read a review of the book and --- spoiler alert ---- in the last chapter, he admits that he is Luke's father.

he actually takes pride in the references to him being Darth Vadar

what an arrogant son of a bitch. have you seen him on the talk shows promoting it? it is unbelievable how someone can look you straight in the eye as he lies to you. good riddance and I don't need to throw good money away to read an insane man's version (justification) of all the great things he has done for the US and the world. History will judge him quite insane.

I would NEVER use the term "arrogant" to describe ANY of the Democratic leaders running around Washington D.C. these days. rofllol

Kate, I think you already got all the "unbiased" review you need on the Cheney Book...provided unabashedly by Wiley. Why bother reading the book? Wiley didn't need to read it to pass judgement on it.

This must be Wiley's rendition of a kinder, gentler political landscape. And I have to say, using the word "arrogant" to describe a Republican is priceless. :faint:

There is no way I would ever give any money to Cheney by buying his book, especially after he cut off his sons hand in that fight.

But Anakin Cheney was redeemed in the end... lol

I won't read it either, I hate biographies enough, even more autobiographies.

My view is not based upon political views. It is based upon facts of his deeds in the world and his lying in an attempt change history around. I do not need to read Cheney's book to know his views of the world. He had spewed them ad nauseum. I am not passing judgment on anything, I am stating my opinion of Cheney. I do not lump people into a total category of this or that. Cheney is not ALL republicans, he is himself and not representative of most (thank god). I don't think anyone ever suffered a lower approval rating while in office than this man, by ALL Americans.
[center:3omptgs4]He reminds me of the mean grouch on Andy of Mayberry, Ben Weaver

and what Andy said about him
"When his time comes he aint gonna go like other people, he just gonna nasty away."

I hope that Christopher Walken narrates the audio version of this book.
