The government should just stop printing $1 Bills. A $1 coin costs, according to your link, less than $0.35 each to mint and will last literally for decades while each dollar bill costs around $0.06 to print and will last less than 2 years on average. While we're on the subject of wasting money minting coins, it would be cheaper to pay 25% above face value for every penny turned in a few times every year than it is to continue minting new pennies.

It is easy to figure out why you ignore them, over your head.
