Halliburton is an upstanding company. I would like to know specifically what liberals have against this company.

They are still in business, still making money, still employing people.

Oh, and they are involved in the very nasty business of oil.

Need I say more?

They would be much more popular if they failed in pursuit of 'green energy'.

Dirty little secret about Halliburton? The Dems hire them too, Clinton used them in Bosnia. They do a good job, but also hire ex-goverment people to be their lobbyists.

DDSOS

...................."As Solyndra struggled to stay afloat, it worked to reassure lawmakers. The company spent $480,000 this year to lobby Congress, according to Senate records.

In July, days after Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce Committee subpoenaed the White House for documents related to the loan guarantee, Solyndra retained Glover Park Group LLC, a public relations and lobbying firm of former congressional and White House aides based in Washington, to introduce executives to members of the committee, according to Senate records. Another American company laid low by cheaper Chinese goods. I was thinking about adding another solar panel to my current BP(Ironic?) setup, maybe I will buy Chinese or Solyndra will have a fire sale.
