Although we haven't yet seen the details of Obama's $450 billion jobs plan, hopefully we have a good idea about it after last night's speech. Do you support it?
By the way, below is a graph showing what the Obama administration projected the Stimulus would accomplish. The graph came from this report on page 5...
I've added data showing how the unemployment rate has actually performed since that report came out and the Stimulus passed (the last data point for Q3 2011 is for the months of July and August where unemployment for both was at 9.1%). The data comes from here...
Since there is no bill to read no one really knows what the legislation says yet. This stinks just like the Obama care bill, don't read it just pass it in to law so everyone can have health care. The premise of the Government spending more borrowed money to create jobs is a non-starter, the 2009 stimulus bill and the aftermath are proof of that.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Where did Obama say not to read the bill? I looked and cannot find that directive. It will be sent to congress next week.....I would expect our congress critters to read it.

The good news is I checked the box that lets you change your vote if you wish after the bill comes out for review.

Until there is a bill to read it's just a lot of hot air and pandering. Who knows, maybe there will be enough compromise on both sides of the isle that could change my mind. Judging from how the last stimulus and Obama care got pushed through I remain skeptical.

Obama has taken almost 3 years to focus on jobs like a laser. Surely he has the details ironed out and should have presented the details of his plan with his speech.

Let's see...no bill and it's projected at $ 450 billion....I rather guess how many pages it will end up at...and if we will get five days to read it before he passes it.
By the way, it's purely a political move...this guy who is occupying the White House is a scam or sham of a President...he doesn't care about America...he cares about his AmeriKA.
