Don't get me started about education in the U.S. I know painfully well about its shortfalls.

It's a screwy word when a football player with a C average can get a full college scholarship while my daughter, with a 4.2 grade average can only get a partial scholarship.

We're paying to educate football players and giving real students the short end of the stick.

If the government actually created wealth like a private individual or company- they would not need to collect taxes at all- they would be paying us.

The private sector is the producer of wealth, the government is the consumer of wealth.

And that's the facts- Wayne.

Wayne that is a pure revenue issue for the university, football equals advertising and attention for the university on the national stage.

There's a perfect example Wayne! You just illistrated a perfect example of how the government picks winners and losers- your daughter earned a spot and instead it was given away to someone else.

Maybe given to the kids of illegals because they were born here. Stupid.

The education system shouldn't be about revenue from sports. It should be about encouraging the best and brightest minds.
