That was the early 60s AV. I remember the drills to leave the classroom and sit on the footbench and tuck our heads between our knees. I knew in 1st grade that idiots ran the country and things haven't changed.

Oh yeah, another one of those historical revisionists who actually think Reagan single-handedly destroyed the Soviet Union. We could had had Bozo the Clown in office at the time and the Soviet Union still would have crumbled. But with a lot less concern over the judgement of the guy with his finger on the button.

It wasn't just the 60s. Quite a few people who know something about the subject concur that the greatest likelihood the world ever saw of all-out nuclear war was during the Reagan years.
