This is my answer too, although I figured out a long time ago that it's a complete waste of time. I only do it now because I'm sick at home and bored. I'd have more luck teaching my 10 year old how to rebuild a transmission.

Sometimes it seems that way, however there is about a 10:1 ratio of lurkers to posters. I have picked up a lot by lurking on various boards over the years.
