Really? What city is the 285 corridor in the jurisdiction of? Certainly not Denver. Denver would not have any say over what happens up here. Apples and oranges. However...I think the original question was did this happen because the gathering was for religious purposes,
I just don't see any proof of that.

What neither of you objecting seem to understand is that there are no accusations of late night parties and loud noises that disturb other people. The complaint is that they have 50 people over to their home twice per week. I personally have never heard of a Bible Study group being loud and disturbing the peace. We don't really know from the article if they are in an area that has limited parking and the neighbors are frustrated at the lack of parking space,

Even though it is claimed by them that it is not because of the fact that they are having Bible Study, it could very well end up as a stumbling block to the city if this ends up in court.

We have the right to peaceful assembly and we have the right to have guests in our homes and absolutely no one can tell you that you can't have guests in your home. It is not a law that could ever be on the books in California or any other state without a legal challenge.

You don't see any proof that this is due to the Religious aspect Archer but you very well might when this comes into a courtroom.

archer, watch the presentation about the equestrian capital of California (their words) and tell me does it sound like Denver or maybe Lakewood.

Or more like the 285 corridor.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

The article provided in the OP clearly says that the Fromm's live in a semi-rural setting, which is precisely how I would describe much of the 285 Corridor. You might think Bailey is suburban, but I would tend more towards semi-rural or rural. There are still a few areas in Arvada that have a semi-rural feel as well, usually a few acres surrounding the old farm house that the family kept when they sold the rest of the land to developers. That's the picture that is painted in my mind's eye when I read the piece quoted in the OP.

I wonder how people would think of it if it had been a coven of 50 witches holding rituals instead of a Bible study?

It looks like the neighbors complained. If a complaint is made the zoning must be enforced. It has little to do with religion and more to do with a neighbor to neighbor feud, but I know the actual issue has little interest to the debaters here. Just another leftie v. Rightie donneybrooke. Carry on.

I wonder how many angels can dance on the head of a pin? We can speculate changing any one of the many variables if we wish including changing the owners of the property from the Fromms to the Obamas, but that really won't add much to the discussion.
