Plus, it is the owner's right to give discounts to anyone he wants to. In a way, it is like giving a discount to senior citizens. THat is a select group too. Now if only I could remember that I qualify. I'm training myself for that with a little help from my friends.

Here is what I think, some religious people put their religion out there so much that they turn off other people. If he wants Christians only. Great.
However, why would you? When I was in retail Christmas was about 50% of our sales for the year. (You would be surprised to know this ran into January too)
Anyway, I never talked about Christmas. I instructed my employees to use "Happy Holidays" because I wanted to stay neutral for my businesses sake and not turn anyone off.
I think he is cutting his business for the sake of religion. Lots of people do it so, feel free. There are lots of oil and lube places so if it were me I would stay away because most likely he will only work hard for me if he knows I am a Christian. Just seems stupid to mix them up.
I know that if I see the symbol in an ad, I don't shop with them. I figure if they need to cram their religion down everyone's throat so badly, then I'm free to shop elsewhere. They're free to do it...And I'm free to go elsewhere.

I doubt brooms are on sale at these establishments anyway.
