rofllol Guess you haven't been watching Fox. They exposed that some of the Latinos in wthe Wall Street demonstations had been paid to show up, like the union workers.

Is it astroturf if you have to pay people to attend your demonstration?

Not very clear since the Tea Party had a real effect on the last election. Were you not one of those who was hoping for some change or do you think our two party system has been working fine the way it was? I think the OWS protests can also make a difference if they can find some sort of focus.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

What you knuckleheads don't get is that this theater from both sides is bought and paid for. I pity this country. What a bunch of idiots.

Which is the reason the only means of rectifying it is to decentralize the power of both parties and of one of the levels of the means by which we govern ourselves. The problem we have is that the greater the degree of centralization, the greater the degree of corruption - the bought and paid for problem that we have. It doesn't matter whether the group that is buying and selling is corporate or populace, the net effect is the same. Both sides are buying and selling the consolidated power that they have managed to accumulate as power has been amalgamated into one single government. Why is it so very difficult for you to see what is plainly visible in front of your own lying eyes jmc? You've got the problem nailed down, but the solution to the problem is not more of what brought the problem on to begin with - it never is. The solution to spending more money than you have is not spending more money that you don't have. The problem of drinking too much isn't going to be solved by drinking more. There is no positive outcome associated with engaging in even more negative behavior. The problem we have with both sides engaged in buying and selling power isn't going to be positively solved by increasing the value of the power being bought and sold. We need to decrease the value of what is being bought and sold in order to make it less attractive to buy and sell, not increase its value; increasing its value makes it more attractive to buy and sell, not less.

If the OWS/Denver was going viral, we would have 10,000 Coloradoans marching on the state capital, but it is just a Dem sponsored organization that doesn't want to expose Obama or Hickenlooper for being corporate lackeys.

The citizens either don't care or realize nothing will change no matter how many people protest. For example, everyone got angry during bailout time and Wall Street dialed back pay and bonues, for one year, just one year. Now they are back to normal, or pay and bonuses have made up for the one year hit they took.

Some people call TSA theatre to make people feel more safe when they fly, is OWS just more theatre? Make people feel like change is possible?

Whoa Sherlock. Where in that link does it say they are hiring protesters?

It's for a canvassing organizing team, according to your link. Knock on doors, go into neighborhoods, sign up people.

The job pays full benefits, including medical and dental. It's a fulltime job.

From their website:

Working America, community affiliate of the AFL-CIO, is the nation's fastest-growing organization for working families. Our 3 million members don't have a union on the job, but with us they find strength in numbers to fight for real health care reform, good jobs and a just economy.
