FYI Occupy.......My preference for who get the Republican nomination has nothing to do with can they or can't they beat Obama, in any given election there are no guarantees. My interest in the Republican field is that the candidate chosen be the best person for the job, and the one likely to do the least damage to the country......just in case they do beat Obama.
I sincerely hope he, or any presidential candidate, is - they're going to need a backbone for the problems the next prez inherits...
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
The right wing zombies don't get that no R will win unless it is Romney or Huntsman. If they pull a (rest of the whacks) they lose. It would be if the D's pushed Kucinich.
Wing nuts always lose in the general. The "whore" will get the nomination , and may win. IMHO

The problem is, if we don't get someone in there with serious guts to confront the issues we have head one, without worrying about whether or not he/she will get a 2nd term, does it really matter? I have no idea if Romney would do it or not, but I'm perfectly open to having a new radical be elected who is willing to make some serious waves. More of the same won't work for 4 more years.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Get real. You have to be elected! We are a country of wimps. Same old same old.
The special interests own the political system, right or left ,we are stuck in the mediocre mire.
