The problem is, if we don't get someone in there with serious guts to confront the issues we have head one, without worrying about whether or not he/she will get a 2nd term, does it really matter? I have no idea if Romney would do it or not, but I'm perfectly open to having a new radical be elected who is willing to make some serious waves. More of the same won't work for 4 more years.
I agree. I'd like an alternative to Obama who's not a wingnut. We need someone to get in there and start working from day one -- not learning from day one. It didn't work last time and it certainly won't work this time. I would like someone intelligent who thinks on their feet (which rules out Perry) or who doesn't get their taxing ideas from SimCity (which rules out Cain). Someone with a chance of winning and not a large chance of dying in office (which rules out Paul).
So far, out of the pack I would be OK with Romney or Huntsman.
