Come now TM, you would have us believe that 3 years of ongoing wars cost more than the $800 Billion (plus interest) SwindleUs Bill? I've seen estimates that the wars are costing about $10 Billion a month to wage, which would put the 3 year tally at $360 Billion. That's a far cry from the majority of the increase in the debt seen during the first 3 years of Obama's administration - it accounts for roughly 10% of it. That's a pretty long stretch from 10% to "much of the debt attributed to Obama", don't you think?

And the $14.6 Billion is the current total, which will be growing by another $1.5 Billion by this time next year - for a grand total much closer to $16 Billion by the end of Obama's first term, which would mean that Obama added more to the deficit in 4 years than Bush did in 8 years. So much for the NY Times "facts".

Reaction to 9/11 Cost the Country Trillions

Direct costs related to the two wars is $2.2 trillion and climbing. When you factor in indirect costs including veterans benefits, homeland security, interest on the debt and related foreign aid, noted economist Joseph Stieglitz estimates that costs most likely exceed $5 trillion. The House Budget Committee issued a report that said procurement costs alone rose “seven-fold” from $7.2 billion in fiscal year 2004 to $61.5 billion in fiscal year 2008, when procurement spending peaked. As a share of appropriations, it grew from 10 percent to 34 percent of the entire Department of Defense budget.

Occupy Denver Activites Cost Denver $365K

DENVER (CBS4)- The cost to the City of Denver for the Occupy Denver protests and activities is approximately $365,000.

The Denver Safety Manager’s Office said that includes costs incurred by the Denver Police and Sheriff Departments.

That amount does not include costs covered by the state or the Colorado State Patrol.

Who are the 1 percent?

Occupy Wall Street protesters have been railing against the Top 1%, trying to raise anger and awareness of the growing economic gap between the rich and everybody else in America.
But just who are these fortunate folks at the top of the income ladder?

Here comes the cold and snow...lets see how die hard these protesters really are.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
