By the time that kind of decision is made, I would hope the person is no longer a child and is able to make those decisions themselves.......sorry, as much as I think it is pretty sad to have to change your gender in order to feel whole, I'm not about to tell people they can't, or shouldn't......is it really so much different than any plastic surgery that a person gets because they think they can't be happy the way they are?

First, I saw Chaz interviewed and he (yes, HE) said that he was not having plastic surgery to get a penis. I don't know what he has, nor do I care.

Secondly, Pitt and Jolie's kid: Why on earth are they talking about their four-year-old child? Don't they believe in giving those kids some privacy?

Thirdly, what a bunch of idiots. Science doesn't know enough yet to state definitively about how fetuses become male, female or inbetween nor does it know enough about sexuality and psychiatry to speak about it authoritatively.

This is a witch hunt. I hear, since we don't understand it, it must be evil! The Bible says so. Gee, since the Bible was written thousands of years ago, a few things have changed. Such as, sell your daughters into slavery. The Bible says so.

Interesting how people pick and choose what to follow in the Bible.

I'm not going to judge someone who is transgender. They have enough to deal with without me poking my nose into their business and banishing them from society.

I could care less if some mentally unstable person wants to cut themselves up...hell, if they wanted to have their legs cut and altered because they thought they were a dog, I'd be fine with that too. I'm talking about introducing a KID to the idea that they can be whatever gender they want to be at an early age....kids remember and the idea sticks with them.

Can't say that when I was a kid or a teenager I had ideas about being a different gender or gay, for that matter. I just wanted equality and that's been a long time coming.

You didn't hear about cloning either when you were a kid. Just because it's possible to remake the human body, that doesn't make it right. Being gay is a completely different matter and I would never assume that being gay is choice for most...some do make that choice though and I'm fine with that too. I just don't think kids need to be thiking about whether or not they should remain the gender they were born with.
