If it's really a problem let the LOCAL parents, school board and governor handle it.
I don't like people here deciding what is good or correct for people in another state. Let the states take care of their own problems, if they have them.
So far, this is one guy who married a Mexican national that can't speak English upset with what his kid's school is doing. (Oh, a few people on here, too).
OK so putting it that way, I agree with you. We can't even solve the problems here.
