One thing this financial melt down SHOULD HAVE taught all of us is a lesson in priorities. While I realize there are many who don't have the means to pay for health insurance and should get help, there are millions of people who spent money on cars they couldn't afford, big screen tvs, ipods, fancy shoes, homes, wheels, and the list goes on and on. We should all be adjusting our credit bought lifestyles and be happy with less...much much less.
I fear this lesson has not been learned by far too many. If we can figure out a way to subsidize the helpless and NOT the clueless, maybe we will have a chance of keeping this country as it was intended from the start. I have low expectations this will ever happen.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
According to this federal PCIP for adults does not kick in untill 2014. Anyone?
"Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, we have already prohibited these practices for children and by 2014 that will be the law of the land for all Americans. But if efforts in Congress to repeal the health law succeed, all those freedoms will be wiped away."
