Denver-Born Teen Killed In U.S. Drone Attack

The guns thing is an NRA smear job. Obama and Holder didn't supply guns to foreign crime lords. They wanted to track guns sold by large-scale gun dealers on the US/Mexico border. The NRA didn't want that to happen. The Times got the story right.

No, the BATFE had the dealers sell guns to known straw purchasers. The whole thing was exposed by BATFE agents that knew this was wrong.

Legitimate link please. Otherwise, it's just NRA hogwash.

Conservation Voice wrote: So you're classifying this kid as a terrorist?

What exactly did he do other than look for his father?

Relatives told TIME that the boy left the family home in Sana'a on Sept. 30 in search of his fugitive father, who was hiding out with his tribe, the Awalak, in a remote, rugged province.

Days after the teenager began his quest, his father was killed in a drone strike

So he left on the DAY his father died... coincidence or was he "called in"?

Or, even simpler, was he not aware his father had been killed when he went looking for him?

Some of you guys would make great SS officers.

Read the rest of that Wayne..... "days after the teen began his quest...." No, his father died Sept. 30th and its said the boy left Sept. 30th. One needs to question the writer's accuracy.

Wow Wayne, I made the mistake you followed the news. Clearly we can all see that isn't true. Do you think the House Oversight and Reform Committee hearings that have been taking place for months now is an NRA show?

Relatives told TIME that the boy left the family home in Sana'a on Sept. 30 in search of his fugitive father, who was hiding out with his tribe, the Awalak, in a remote, rugged province.

Days after the teenager began his quest, his father was killed in a drone strike.

Then, just two weeks later, the Yemeni government claimed another airstrike had killed a senior al-Qaeda militant. Abdulrahman, his teenage cousin, and six others also died in the Oct. 14 attack, TIME reported.

A U.S. official told TIME that the young man "was in the wrong place at the wrong time," and that the U.S. was trying to kill a legitimate terrorist -- al-Qaeda leader Ibrahim al-Banna -- in the airstrike.

So the boy was in the company of a known al-Qaeda militant.... another coincidence that he just happened to be with this guy?.... Granted "guilt by association" isn't always a factor but the possibility shouldn't be completely ruled out either.

Still, the story is written inaccurately in that section.

Maybe "the horse got stuck in the well guy" is wondering why he started this thread.

You guys are right. No big deal if we kill an American kid by mistake because he's probably a terrorist since his dad is. Too bad we didn't get the rest of the family, right?

You know what's funny?

I came out against something so you numnutz came out for it....

Which means you're supporting what the Obama administration did.

As the great Nmysys posted in another thread started by a conservative:

Why is it, that it is okay for this administration to do everything that Bush did and not get called on it by those on the left? When Bush did it, it was a heinous crime. When Obama does it, it is a great victory.

Gotcha.
