One of the few VIPs to mention the matter openly was Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Advisor and the ultimate insider's insider. He commented on the millions of unemployed or soon-to-be-unemployed and the "...public awareness of this extraordinary wealth that was transferred to a few individuals at levels without historical precedent in America." He told "Morning Joe" Scarborough, "Hell, there could be even riots." I'd say that's an understatement.
We will see. Usually American civil unrest is not as violent as other countries, but it could be possible OWS whips people up into a frenzy. Right now they march past millionaires homes but will they eventually firebomb them?
Or if the Left loses the election, will they burn the cities down?
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
It'll be OK- these are not the people who have been buying ammunition- all they have bought is some nose rings, bongo's, and weed to put in their bongs.
Something interesting I just received in my email:
"Changing the subject, we just returned from a trip from the Twin Cities to Phoenix, and then Dallas, and then home -- over 4,000 miles. We drove because I did not want to deal with the TSA in the airports. Well, guess what? I got stopped by the TSA in Texas. Yes, I didn't have to get out of my car, but I saw people asked to get out ahead of me.
"We are living in a police state, and it is getting worse. It isn't just the waste of getting a college education people don't need. It is the waste of
government growing at an expanding clip and clamping down on everything we used to take for granted. Freedom is evaporating very rapidly.
"Robert K in Minnesota"
I think that most folks out there are still "fat, dumb, and happy", as a buddy of mine says. But if OWS does get violent, if TSA roadblocks become the norm, if those "fat, dumb, and happy" folks start getting inconvenienced and unhappy, then we may see some real unrest.
Over the summer we visited my son at Ft. Bliss in Texas, on the way back we were stopped at one of those check-points and merely had to confirm we're US citizens. (a.k.a. show my driver's license like I would to any other cop.) No major hassel or anything like that... seems to me they were just re-assuring border security and I had no problem with it. Didn't view it as a "police state" type of thing at all.

Different group Chris, that was the border patrol down there. My question is what in the hell is TSA doing on our roads stopping traffic. They seem to have a hard enough time dealing with airports, now we have then out on the roads

WE have the bullets!
Just thought I'd quote this for future reference. Which side is advocating violence again?
