From what I've read in various places it's part of Operation VIPR. From what I've seen, though, that is supposedly limited to checking trucks at weigh stations, not stopping private vehicles. But hey, get a foot in the door and presto! "Papers, please!"

WE have the bullets!
Just thought I'd quote this for future reference. Which side is advocating violence again?
I see nothing advocating anything, I see a statement about us having bullets, where does that advocate violence
So… apparently the Department of Homeland Security ‘TSA’, the Transportation Security Administration, feels the need to bloat and grow their ‘reason to exist’ even more than their already overwhelming presence in all US airports. Today, it was learned that the TSA is now hitting the streets, literally, looking for terrorists on US roadways.
The Phoenix version of OWS had flyers explaining when you can morally use force against law enforcement so they are not all non-violent types in those drum circles. Expect the Earth Liberation Front and other eco-warriors to be part of these rallies.

Well, considering what BMHIB was responding to, I took it that way, but you can take it any way you want. I don't understand the mindset that would consider taking the Robber Baron's side in this dispute, especially with all your ammunition, unless you yourself happen to be a member of that elite set or if you are in their employ.

Hey Monkey- you can stick it where the sun don't shine!
I'm not a communist like you- that's why you wouldn't understand my mindset.

Sheesh!!
I'm also curious where the we vs. They line is drawn here. Who is we ? The 1%? Older Americans? I don't get the hostility some on the right have towards this movement. The banks screwed all of us. Unless Bearmtn is a banker who got bailed out. Then all becomes clear. The way I see it is the only way we get D.C.s attention is if we all get out in the street with the message that we are mad as hell and we aren't taking it any more. That is exactly what OWS is doing, and it has the bankers running scared, and all they have bought time on the networks to belittle and distort what this movement is trying to say. Anyone who can't see this is probably watching too much cable news.
