OWS has some legitimate gripes. We have all been screwed by the most notably the mortgage loan industry with their "liar loans", hedge fund operations for the speculation on those tranches, the fed for turning a blind eye on the industry practices and the ratings agencies for assuring investors that those sacks of crap were not sacks of crap.

Unfortunately OWS needs to organize themselves a bit more. Some of their participants seem to be there just to be there and bring up things that make no sense at all, to the detraction of the whole.

OWS has some legitimate gripes

There's a difference between a legitimate gripe and what these people are doing. If they had a brain cell left - they would know it was the government that enabled all this crap, and then bailed out failure.

All those guys would be out on the street without a job - or anyone who would give them another chance if we had just let the market sort it out.

Big government caused this.

They are using this OWS thing as a way to organize communists.

WE have the bullets!

Just thought I'd quote this for future reference. Which side is advocating violence again?

I see nothing advocating anything, I see a statement about us having bullets, where does that advocate violence

I would say that the capitalization of WE combined with HIB's past posts advocating violence could be leading one to the idea...

OWS should really be trying to take the Dem party back from Wall Street or taking over the Green Party. Instead they play the drums and make signs.

No-one ever said that a free market economy never has bumps in the road- but everytime things get tough, the socialists and communists come out in force and start spewing their crap around.

If you want to see the "robber barons" suffer- quit voting for corrupt politicians!

Start supporting LIMITED GOVERMENT advocates- not socialists!

When things get tough, the bankers strong arm the government into bailing them out instead of letting the market sort them out...

They can only strongarm the corrupt ones.

Stop voting them into power!

Well, considering what BMHIB was responding to, I took it that way, but you can take it any way you want. I don't understand the mindset that would consider taking the Robber Baron's side in this dispute, especially with all your ammunition, unless you yourself happen to be a member of that elite set or if you are in their employ.

Hey Monkey- you can stick it where the sun don't shine!

I'm not a communist like you- that's why you wouldn't understand my mindset.

Sheesh!!

So if you oppose bank bailouts, government spending on private industry, and Wall Street execs making the rules, you are a communist. Got it. Moron.

Would my sign have more effect if it said, "Go pound tofu, you lazy petiole oil rodent droppings?"
