On a 396-9 vote Tuesday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a non-binding resolution reaffirming 'In God We Trust' as the official national motto of the United States.
Did you think they would vote against it? Wait until you see the vote totals for motherhood, pie, and the flag. But aren't you glad they wasted the time to reconfirm a 54 year old law that was already in place. (Pssst...Motherhood, pie and the flag have been around much longer, but never let an opportunity for jingoism go to waste.)

Did you think that was a waffle answer? The fact is they did waste as much time as the Republicans. That's the facts. If they would or wouldn't vote against it is not the issue. Do some research before you put your foot in your mouth. All of your political posturing and partisan retorts will not change the fact that almost ALL OF THEM voted for it.

There are ALWAYS attacks on the work GOD in anything! This was a great vote. A show of unity to show this naiton can still come together on certain issues. That we are NOT divided beyond repair. And it really does show the one thing that still holds this naiton together.
