There are ALWAYS attacks on the work GOD in anything! This was a great vote. A show of unity to show this naiton can still come together on certain issues. That we are NOT divided beyond repair. And it really does show the one thing that still holds this naiton together.

I thought it was the Constitution that held our nation together, not religion.

Looks like GOD is on the side of those who pray. With Tebow at the helm and praying, the Broncos won by how much this past Sunday?

I am still waiting for people to figure out that the government does not make jobs and that those that keep thinking that they do are dragging us all down.

Since 1929 the government makes most of the jobs..They pump 100's of billions into the economy every year..The military is nothing more than a giant jobs program and if it weren't for government contracts - one way or the other, everybody here would be out of work..Republicans want to loot the money and enrich themselves with military spending which does nothing for us..Democrats want to create the jobs in every community by building and investing in programs locally that benifit us..Either way the money will be spent- Thats the way it is and thats why I vote democrat..I want my tax dollars spent on me, to improve my life.

So, which is it? Is military a jobs program, or does it do nothing for us?

Viking - I have no interest in attacking the work of the almighty.

However - to my eyes - the resolution is an act of taking the creator's name in vain.

It's avoidance in the name of G-d - and frankly - I despise the political rhetoric that continually rapes the almighty.
(as if putting Him on the cross and mocking Him isn't enough).
