Herman Cain's wife is a Democrat & voted for Obama

He finally admitted it. And she has voted Democrat since 2000. So is this another Schwarzenegger / Shriver couple? And no wonder she isn't on the campaign trail. And according to this story, she voted for Obama in the Primary!

Last week, the Atlanta Journal Constitution profiled Gloria Cain and discovered that not only is she a Democrat, but that she “has voted in Democratic primaries and runoffs numerous times since 2000 — including the 2008 presidential primary that Barack Obama won with 66 percent of the vote, according to local voting records.”

Herman Cain confirmed the tale to Kimmel.

“She still says she’s a Democrat and I believe that,” Cain said, “but that doesn’t mean that she votes Democrat.”

He believes she is? He doesn't know what his own wife is?

Where does Cain say, or where in that article does anyone say that she voted for Obama?

And this matters why? Are you thinking that this is another Reagan-like situation, where it was rumored that Nancy was making the decisions for him b/c he was so cognitively challenged by the end of his term? (A claim which I believe has been exaggerated, BTW).

What a candidate's spouse is or how they vote doesn't and shouldn't matter - we care about what the candidate's record is, and stated goals are. I'm totally curious as to why you'd post this Viking.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

We just have to wake people up to not vote in one of our weakest candidates. I don't want Obama for 4 more years!

Who? I don't think I've mentioned her since she announced she wasn't running... I don't post multiple posts about her every day, like some people do other candidates. That's hardly infatuation. She's no longer relevant.

It's called news SC. I thought that is what this site is about? I guess I can just post on Facebook where they post all the news if that is what you like? If you want to question me and don't like the headline news on here, I can post it elsewhere. Just the same people who will never change their mind here anyway.

And how do we know Gloria Cain won't influence policy? Rosalyn Carter and Hillary Clinton--do those names ring a bell?

And I can't help it that Cain keeps screwing up everyday and more and more of his past comes out. I guess we can all just ignore it like America did in 2008 and let Obama win again. Great plan!
