Who's the first?

Probably LJ, I don't think Arlen likes women with opinions, something about being seen and not heard.

I didn't ask you... did I? And considering you jumped in and offered to answer my question to Arlen... I suspect Arlen's point about you has a lot of truth behind it. You just tipped your own hand.

:rofl

that makes two of you......my, my....so other posters are not allowed to comment on your posts unless you give them permission? Going to call for a mod now? You are starting to sound like VL

Strike two. You proved Arlen's point a second time. Want to try for the b*tch of the day award... or is this just par for the course for you?

It's just par for the course and she doesn't even see how toxic she is.

Let me explain something to you. I can take what ever crap you are shoveling. So, if you got something to say, say it... but stop acting like chicken crap and running away. It doesn't become you at all.

Let me state that there are a few liberals who's comments that I respect. Conservation Voice will challenge a person to consider his position. There are times that I question his tactics, but if given time he will reveal that there is quite a bit of thought behind his direction. Soulshiner, 2wlady, Wily Fox aka Angela, jmc, and many others who (I think) are liberal, will challenge a person to reconsider his point of view. They contribute.

I have not been on this board long but I recognize that there are thoughtful people who would disagree with me with compelling argument in a heartbeat. Their views are valid. It is just that they are wrong :) They are not jackals.

It isn't always about you...or your poster cohorts. I'm annoyed enough with myself for letting myself get suckered into your world of insults and grade school taunts. Enough is enough.

Back to the topic, if that is OK......So far I have watched every GOP debate, I think it's important to know what both sides are thinking. Last night's was the least exciting, but in many ways I thought it was the most important. Foreign affairs has taken a back seat to the economy and social issues in this election....actually in the mid term elections in 2010. But what is happening around the world, and our reactions to those events can have huge implications for our own future. It's unfortunate that there are so many candidates, there just hasn't been enough time for any single candidate to elaborate on their position, or answer more than a couple questions. I hope as the campaigns go forward some candidates will drop out and the debates will be more enlightening. If not, it may not be till the general election that we really know what the GOP candidate has to offer, or how he/she handles the pressure of debates/stress/and opposition.

I have to respond to this one. THIS is a perfect example of you throwing out feminist or othe crap that is total lies and why you are one of the least respected people on here. You never contribute to anything.

Actually, I respect Archer immensely, primarily because she doesn't back down from personal attack posts like the ones you have been making about her.

If you really want to talk about respect, perhaps we should bring up your cheerleading for Perry. You seem to so want him to win that you are willing to overlook his faults, starting with his "oops" moment the other night. But then, you've already made up your mind, so you can't be objective.

Fact Check on the recent debate:

http://news.yahoo.com/fact-check-misfir ... 00344.html

ROMNEY on President Barack Obama and Iran: "What he should have done is speak out when dissidents took the streets and say, 'America is with you.' And work on a covert basis to encourage the dissidents."

GINGRICH: "First of all, as maximum covert operations — to block and disrupt the Iranian (nuclear) program, including taking out their scientists, including breaking up their systems. All of it covertly, all of it deniable. "

THE FACTS: It is widely believed that the Obama administration has been covertly attacking the Iranian nuclear program. By definition, covert action is not publicly acknowledged, so criticizing Obama for not doing something that he might very well be doing adds little to the debate. On just one front, there are strong suspicions the Obama administration either unleashed the sophisticated Stuxnet computer worm on Iran's nuclear program or supported Israel in that effort. The attack infected systems at the Bushehr power plant and set back Iran's nuclear development.

It is also believed the administration has provided secret help to Iranian dissidents, even if to little effect so far. Romney, Gingrich and most other contenders do not know what the U.S. is doing, and not doing, covertly. Michele Bachmann, as a member of the House intelligence Committee, might. If so, she's legally barred from talking about it.

There's a lot more mistakes - by every candidate - in the article.

:dislike: Another case of over generalization which is totally nonproductive, IMO.

And I can give you 50 more if you want them...

'Now, what we'ree doing, I want to be clear, we're not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money.''
—Barack Obama, on Wall Street reform, Quincy, Ill., April 29, 2010

''The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system.''
—Barack Obama, in remarks after a health care roundtable with physicians, nurses and health care providers, Washington, D.C., July 20, 2009

'It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There's a lot of -- I don't know what the term is in Austrian, wheeling and dealing.''
—Barack Obama, confusing German for ''Austrian,'' a language which does not exist, Strasbourg, France, April 6, 2009

''The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries.''
—Barack Obama, Tampa, Fla., Jan. 28, 2010

''In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed.''
—Barack Obama, on a Kansas tornado that killed 12 people

''I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go.''
—Barack Obama, at a campaign event in Beaverton, Oregon

And this is a sitting president.
