Joe Walsh: Veterans In OWS 'Don't Understand This Country'

I didn't see anything that suggested that any Veterans were holding up "communist" signs--just a blanket statement from a nutcase teabagger that "Veterans 'Don't Understand This Country'... You REALLY believe that any Veterans supporting OWS "don't understand this country?"

"But anyone who would advocate socialist solutions to certain problems in this country ... they don't understand this country."

Funny, I don't see any mention of Veterans in that statement - y'know, the one you had in your original post?

It only talks about those that advocate socialist solutions.

If that happens to be a vet, that's beside the point.

Oh, so Walsh was just trying to use "socialist" in a sentence while bashing veterans...

Got it...

I believe we're differing in our reading comprehension.

I see that Walsh answered the question about vets participating in OWS as "I don't know how many veterans are part of the Occupy protest," he said. "I can't imagine it's many."

Then, he moved on to his opinion of those proposing socialist solutions - a group that he thinks doesn't contain many vets.

I suppose it's all in how you read it, but I can understand that you actively look for the worst possible interpretation of anyone's words that you percieve to be opposed to you.

And just what, exactly, do you mean by that?
