At least the bridge finally got used for something...
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

In a previous post I speculated about how long it would be before a shanty town got set up on the bridge, the location would be ideal given the close proximity to the mall and fast food restaurants. Maybe it's time to contact a Japanese capsule hotel and see if they would consider construction on the bridge? Sure the county would have to weigh in on the deal but at least then it would be a productive business venture that should turn a profit. Clients could whoop it up along the Wadsworth corridor and not have to worry about driving home while intoxicated.
On the other hand, JCSO and the courts would be deprived of the cash they soak drunk drivers for, maybe the county would choose not to go along? Maybe an open air restaurant would be a better use of the bridge instead? I'm just fishing for ways to repay the debt and put people back to work in that area...

Your a fuc4ing idiot if you try something as idiotic as separating 'conservative' from 'reuplican'. It's the idiotic conservatives on this forum who try and broad brush associate anything left of Stalin to the left wing posters here... The BoC who voted for this 'bridge to nowhere' are R's, they are you, you voted for them over the D, you own this.......

WOW, an LJ clone...great.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

One of the votes to approve was cast by a (D). Sorry, but neither side is blameless. It's idiotic to try to paint this as a partisan issue. The corruption is systemic. At this point every elected official is infected. It will take all voters, regardless of party, working together to change the system. Right now they have us at each others throats so they don't have to worry about us.

I would imagine that a few of them in fact did NOT know who voted for the bridge but just think it is a big waste of $$$. I would agree with them on that point. But trying to turn it into a conservative vs liberal issue is misleading. It is rather myopic of the protesters. There is no way to know that a liberal would have voted the bridge down, just speculation that if they are liberal/democrat then they would have supported the wasteful spending for bridge.
How's the fly tying?
I haven't tied in a while, to many other projects. Now that winter is here maybe I can work on that.
