It's the idiotic conservatives on this forum who try and broad brush associate anything left of Stalin to the left wing posters here... The BoC who voted for this 'bridge to nowhere' are R's, they are you, you voted for them over the D, you own this.......
So, every candidate within your party matches your beliefs 100%? You vote for them because they mimic your everythought?
Bull. You vote for who's closest. If all they are missing is a conservative financial stand, I vote for them - because there's other issues that are also important.
The BoC are 'R's, but we all know they're not financial conservatives.

The fiscal conservatism is the most important facet to me. Without it I don't see much difference between a Democrat and a Republican. They both have their grubby paws in my pocket.

I agree, but finding a real fiscal conservative willing to run is damn near impossible. Seems like most of them say they are, but there's a little asterisk after the word conservative that means "conservative in all things I oppose, but very liberal to my friends and donors."

Concur, that is why we have to hold their feet in the fire. Yes I meant in, not too. It is like watching Nero fiddle. We might need to burn them to the knees.
Everyone says that, but no one does it. Everyone rallies around "their" guy and makes excuses. Frankly I see no difference between GW Bush and Obama. Both guys policies Put our economy into a powerdive.

Yes, I have been watching it for decades. I agree with bootlegger that we don't have a lot of do overs left. I am not real hopeful but I think our last hope is
the tea party and why I like to say "Bad Dog".
