I agree, it's Romney.

Guiliani was leading the polls 4 years ago. How did that work out?

Personally I don't have a problem with Mitt, but conservative Christians don't like that he is a Mormon and anti-Obamacare people don't like that he created the prototype and he won't admit it is a mistake!

Who do you think created the model for Obamacare? If you don't know, maybe you should ask Newt Gingrich. He took an awful lot of money to peddle it to his friends in Congress.

Really...

White House used Mitt Romney health-care law as blueprint for federal law- Three advisers to GOP candidate met a dozen times with senior Obama officials, records show.

Newly obtained White House records provide fresh details on how senior Obama administration officials used Mitt Romney’s landmark health-care law in Massachusetts as a model for the new federal law, including recruiting some of Romney’s own health care advisers and experts to help craft the act now derided by Republicans as “Obamacare.”

The records, gleaned from White House visitor logs reviewed by NBC News, show that senior White House officials had a dozen meetings in 2009 with three health-care advisers and experts who helped shape the health care reform law signed by Romney in 2006, when the Republican presidential candidate was governor of Massachusetts. One of those meetings, on July 20, 2009, was in the Oval Office and presided over by President Barack Obama, the records show.

Look into where Mitt got HIS ideas. The Obamacare model came from the health insurance industry itself.

No... you made the assertion that Newt had something to do with the Obamacare model... you show me the connection?

What do you think they were paying him all that money for? His services as a "historian"?

When will people realize that far from this being a case of that evil Obama forcing Obamacare down the throat of the unwilling Republicans, they are all in this together. Republicans and Democrats alike, the voters were SOLD OUT to the corporations on this one. At least the Dem voters mostly realize it. Republicans still seem in total denial, even with the evidence staring them in the face that their top guys are in this up to their necks.

Yesterday, Newt claimed that people were flying to Hawaii using food stamps. Apparently, he doesn't understand how the program works, as that would be impossible to do.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter ... ps-Hawaii/

In his Council Bluffs speech -- at a "slice the deficit" pizza party sponsored by a group called Strong America Now -- Gingrich added a new twist. According to NBC News campaign "embed" Alexandra Moe, Gingrich said this:

"Remember, this is the best food stamp president in history. So more Americans today get food stamps than before. And we now give it away as cash -- you don't get food stamps. You get a credit card, and the credit card can be used for anything. We have people who take their food stamp money and use it to go to Hawaii. They give food stamps now to millionaires because, after all, don't you want to be compassionate? You know, the Obama model: isn't there somebody you'd like to give money to this week. That's why we're now going to help bailout Italy because we haven't bailed out enough people this week, the president thought let's write another check. After all, we have so much extra money."

According to the Agriculture Department, which runs SNAP, households can use benefits to buy groceries or to buy seeds and plants which produce food. (In some places where subsistence fishing is the norm, such as remote areas of Alaska, recipients can also pay for nets, hooks, fishing line, rods, harpoons and knives.) And in some areas, restaurants can be authorized to accept SNAP benefits from qualified homeless, elderly, or disabled people in exchange for low-cost meals.

But in general, SNAP funds cannot be used for restaurant meals. Other types of foods and beverages cannot be paid for with SNAP funds, including beer, wine or liquor; vitamins; food that will be eaten in the store; or hot foods.

Then perhaps he can provide the American people with ONE--JUST ONE--DOCUMENTED case of an airline ticket paid for with a food-stamp debit card?

Perhaps he is thinking of the Bush failure following the Hurricane Katrina debacle of providing people in the New Orleans area with cards that were NOT food-stamp debit cards, but just debit-cards against an amount for survival...and a few used the cards for travel.. (Psst: Newt...Not the same thing...)

But I will await breathlessly Newt producing ONE DOCUMENTED CASE of food-stamp cards being used for travel to Hawaii--or anywhere else.

You gotta love the Right-wingers right now... They're bailing out on Cain because he "cheated on his wife"...(and also because he's as dumb as a pile of rocks)... And rushing toward a guy that's cheated on TWO wives...And was the only Speaker of the House to get reprimanded and fined $300,000. The sanctions were for "intentional or ... reckless" disregard of House rules by using tax-exempt foundations for political purposes and subsequently lying to the House ethics committee.

And this is their new "candidate".... rofllol

Oh, PLEASE, let Newt beat Romney and become the nominee... I almost want that more than Palin or Bachmann getting it.

Noun:
A small, slender-bodied amphibian (Notophthalmus, Taricha, and other genera, family Salamandridae) with lungs and a well-developed tail,...

If we could get the Geico gecko to run as 'None of the Above', he would win in a landslide!
