Mr. Chavez figured he can't call the President "gringo" --- so he found an alternative insult.

Were President Obama to joke like this with - say Israeli Prime Minister Netenyahu, I don't think it'd be received so lightly
(almost certainly, the UN would scold us).

I do wish the mockery and provocation would stop, though
someone's going to get hurt
and I don't really think it's America.

All jokes aside: Small nuclear weapons could have easily been slipped into the USA over the past say 15 years. The Russians so I am told have yet to account for all the weapons they have (had) after the implosion of the USSR.

IMHO if they are here they are in the WDC-Boston corridor........biggest bang for the effort.

No joking matter.

Their "style" is in the eye of the beholder. What style misled the USA that is the root issue in 911. We were assuming way too much. 12 enemy combatants killed over 3000 people and cost the US trillions - and we lost many of our domestic freedoms. The war colleges will study that fiasco for generations.......we lost sight of the "style" of our enemy.

Chavez and the Iranian leader are like two 98 pound weaklings dreaming up ways to get back at the jocks.

These two are not where we should (OK we are) watching.......we will NEVER win in the Middle East (TWO BILLION LOCALS IN THE REGION ASSURE THAT) - we are running home as we speak. Our best bet is to get off the oil "tit".......IMHO.
