Seems to be more places to pick up mj. So will laudanum and opium be offered next? White crosses to help with chronic fatigue?

No. Do you equate marijuana with opiates or speed for any sensible reason?...or just because, "drugs are bad, mmmkay"?

Reefer Madness made quite an impression, eh? Try to understand the difference between fiction and reality, please. Why are so many in these foothills satisfied being willfully ignorant? Oh yeah, education is for liberal elitists! Ok...as long as you admit to lacking any education or factual knowledge of the issue. That way, those of us who appreciate intellect will know to disregard your blather.

Yeah, ALL drugs are bad...things were so much better when people died from colds and flus. My dad should quit those high blood pressure drugs. I really wish all the sr citizens in our nation would give up their drug problems! And cancer patients should just hurry up and die, right? And AIDS sufferers deserve a painful death...after all, its karma for not being just like YOU, huh?

You are a simplistic fool. Ever had a beer, fool? How about an aspirin? Oh! Druggie!

Present an argument before you address me again. If you have no argument, just stay out on the playground. Quit pestering! Can't you see the grown-ups are trying to have a discussion?

You know I'm talking about illegal drugs. They are bad. I asked you to show me otherwise? YOU HAD NO ARGUMENT. You didn't. You can't.

From what I understand it is easier to get a perscription for Marijuana than for Viagra.

It is far easier to get Marijuana than Viagra, unless you are ordering it from India.

My examples were all medically prescribed at one time and I know at least one older woman who would love to be able to get legal methedrine again. Why do you think marijuana deserves special status?

BTW, I support legalizing marijuana, but this current system of medical ganja is pretty funny.
I saw the Feds threatening to shut down all dispensaries near schools. Aren't they all illegal under federal law? So some kid with a 1/8 of an ounce gets busted while a storefront operation with pounds of dope operates "legally", er, as long as it is 1000 feet from a school

Actually, marijuana is not an illegal drug - it is a controlled substance...meaning there are controlled, legitimate uses. One legit use is for research. As more and more research has been done, its been discovered that there are a multitude of medical applications. Its also been realized that there are almost no negative effects. Thus, the citizens of Colorado have elected to reduce the controls on this substance. If you can't accept the voters' decision, you are free to "vote with your feet"...perhaps go somewhere else where your neighbors will be more in line with your opinions.

It appears that Colorado voters will get to choose again in 2012 whether the hippie lettuce will be legal. Think it will pass? I will vote for it and was suprised to see that California voted it down a couple years ago.
