On the other hand, marijuana provides real relief to people struggling with debilitating conditions.

Drug addiction is certainly a debilitating condition.

Any evidence marijuana causes any physical addiction? Your argument could also be applied to Viagra...

I don't need any evidence. It's a illegal drug. If it has such a wonderful medical use, then the PROFESSIONAL medical community would have been prescribing it and making money off it a long time ago. This "medical" use and 7-11 styled stores are just a limp front for finding a way around the illegal use of an illegal drug. Sh**e, I know a dozen people getting "medical" pot and they have no actual need for it... except to get high. And don't tell me this is a surprise to you.

Tell you what Mr Know-it -all, I've been on chemo for almost two solid years, and THE ONLY real relief I've gotten from nausia, lack of appetite, and lack of sleep is been from MJ.

The real reason drug companies don't make money off MJ, is because they can't corner the market on it and I can grow it in my basement for next to nothing. Even the synthetic Marinol is not as effective for me as what I grow myself. It's a massive waste of money trying to control it and keeping it illegal is only helping the scumbags from Mexico.

Even my oncologist recommended I look into it (off the record of course) since none of the drugs she prescribed helped and I ended up in the hospital several times due to dehydration from vomitting. Ever since I started vaporizing it, I've been able to get through this crap.

Not legalalizing MJ is just as dumb as the prohibition of alcohol imo.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I don't know if it will be legalized, but I feel having medical availability to those who need it is the right thing to do. If some people abuse it, I don't really care. I haven't witnessed any tremendous tear in the social fabric from recreational use. People historically have understood the value of a mild buzz...whether its wine or weed, what business is it of anyone to tell another what they can or cannot ingest? Yeah, heroin, meth, coke...really bad stuff that you can show directly impacts society in very negative ways...I don't believe its just to rate marijuana on a similar level, at all.

So if you blaze up and take a boner pill at the same time do you get the equivalent of "beer d*ck"?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
