Comrade Obama has been the best 3yrs for U.S/Russian relations.

PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA DMITRY MEDVEDEV: My colleague Barack Obama and I have once again had a constructive discussion of the various issues on the international agenda and on bilateral cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United States.

We discussed the missile defence issue too and said that there is still time to find a solution. Cooperation and discussion on all of the different areas related to the European missile defence project could be more active, and we agreed that the time is ripe for the technical experts to start working together.

Given the concessions already made by the Obama Administration on missile defense, and the new START treaty, not to mention our support of Russia’s entry into the World Trade Organization, it’s hardly surprising that the Russians would have such a favorable view of U.S. policy over the past 3 years.

So?
Russia is not a threat anymore to the US. They have become a shadow of themselves.

I am much more interested about US-Chinese relations and the way they are coveting the seas of neighboring countries. Overall weapon sales are down, except for SE Asia as these countries increase their militaries to protect themselves against Chinese territorial ambitions.

Would it be in the best interest of the United States to have bad relations with another country?

Some twits are still fighting the 1970's "cold war"... If we have GOOD relations with Russia, I'm all for it. It's taken 3 years to start undoing the 8-years worth of damage that the Idiot-son did.

Well, since the second option hasn't happened, isn't it nice to know the first option HAS...
