As was mentioned, that place was legal there. Just as prostitution is legal in many Nevada counties and they get plenty of business too with no repercussions.
And yes it happens on business trips, or all kinds of trips.
I do think the secret service has a different standard than a regular person. They do have a duty to protect the President's life.
I see the agents have had their security clearances revoked during an investigation. That makes them toast for now, and may cost them their jobs.
I don't know the rules or what they signed up for. I just don't think it looks good for them at this point. I'll leave it up to the investigation.
One article I read (sorry, no link) said that the agents were bragging to the "ladies" about being responsible for guarding the President. What an opportunity -- terrorists kidnap a couple of them and force them by whatever means to divulge the President's itinerary, codes, etc. Then wreak havoc with attempts on his life.
What they do on their own time that's legal is none of my affair, but to possibly risk the safety of the President is, to me, cause for firing. I'm no fan of Obama, but these guys (as pineinthegrass pointed out) have a different standard than regular citizens. They blew it. The scandal isn't Obama's, it's in the lap of the Secret Service.
P.S. Do you know how to make a hormone? Don't pay her.

Yep... Which is what the rest of us have been saying for 7 pages of this thread...

The (Secret) Service can overrule even the President where his personal security is involved. In fact, Truman once said the Secret Service is the only boss the president has.

Are you confusing that with the fact they removed the bubble top from the convertible for the motorcade??
No link. Just letting a client die on your watch would be considered to be a failure if you were a bodyguard.
So you made it up. And this discussion is about scandal, not failure.
I am not the one making this political. Made up the fact that the Secret Service got too lax in Dallas? Do you actually think they were acting in the best interests of the President letting him ride in a open top vehicle?
The current scandal in Colombia is small beans compared to losing a President.
