If your friend is a Republican simply because of Ken Salazar that's a mighty poor reason to make a major personal political decision. I'm sure in any extended family there are members of both major political parties.

Like you would even know. You didn't grow up around him did you? She got to see the democratic party in action with Salazar in it.

Implying that Romney is a greedy guy and that should disqualify him from being POTUS?

But is it any less greedy to force people via prison terms and garnishments to pay high tax rates so that you can buy votes with other people's money?

Kate would have never voted for "silver spoon" JFK either.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

OK.

Talking about silver spoons, will they mention in this campaign how JFK & FDR didn't earn their riches, unlike Mitt who gave away his Dad's money and made his own?

Or another silver spoon, there is some talk about Jeb Bush being the VP for Romney. Hispanic wife and children, much more tolerant on immigration.

Funny you should ask. I grew up in the San Luis Valley.

As I said, in any extended family there are members of both major political parties. Your friend proves it.

Think a gay VP choice would lose Obama voters among his base? Would energize the gay community to support Barack, but they already support him.

Under President Obama, the "high" tax rates are the lowest in fifty years.

Another Hispanic to consider would be Gov Brian Sandoval of Nevada. Prior to that he was a US district judge and was even endorsed by Harry Reid as I recall.
