VP Predictions?

Who do you want to see as Romney's VP and who do you think he will pick?

I want Rubio and I think he will end up getting the job.

Anyone think Biden will be swapped out for Hillary? I think it's possible if Obama's poll numbers keep heading down....Biden can only be seen as a liability given what often comes out of his mouth.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Nikki Haley for the GOP. That would be the ecological choice, because then the Dem and Lefty media can recycle all their anti-women rhetoric they used on Sarah Palin.
Hilary for the Dems.

But I think the Dems would be smarter to choose a rising star who could run in 2016. I think Ms. Clinton will be too old then. Who would be a good rising star? Hickenlooper? Jared Polis? And a youngster might revive the young voters, possibly a (D) Rubio to get the Hispanic vote?

Jared Polis?? Really??? America is not ready for a gay presidential nominee.

I was thinking of Ken Salazar for VP. It would assure the very large Hispanic vote in 2012 and put him in perfect position for 2016.

Rubio for the Repubs. Romney needs the Latino vote.

And very more than likely a young, democratic Latino (have no idea who that would be, Bill Richardson being under investigation has too much baggage and isn't young enough) to shore up Obuma as the economy worsens instead of our short lived 'getting better'.

Too old. They need someone younger. But on the otherhand he is the pefect yes man. He is the perfect Obuma mouthpiece. Doesn't do a damn thing unless the King says jump. Great at kissing A**

Oh btw, I know Salazar. A friend of mine is part of that family. She's a Republican for a reason.

Ken? I have met him and he didn't impress me as a brainiac, or very presidential. (very short).

Then again, he wouldn't overshadow Obama or make nearly as many verbal gaffes as Joe Biden.

With Romney's pick, or any VP pick, I wonder how much influence the party has, or is it all the candidate and his advisors?

Cheney looked like he appointed himself VP. Gore didn't seem to make much sense at all, two southern politicians. Bush I was a strategic pick.
Biden was a strange call too, supposedly someone with foreign policy experience, but Obama has been handling that better than Joe.

No brain, only provides drivel now after checking with Obuma. Nice guy, but not presidential material unless he has the same plan as King Obuma, run everything into the ground giving freebies away when we don't have the money. What a plan!

If your friend is a Republican simply because of Ken Salazar that's a mighty poor reason to make a major personal political decision. I'm sure in any extended family there are members of both major political parties.

Gordon Gekko would be a perfect running mate for Romney.

No serious predictions?
